The Research

The starting point for Body Innoventions’ chemists was a groundbreaking 1998 study published in the June issue of the medical journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery entitled “An exploratory investigation of the morphology and biochemistry of cellulite.”1 The study was groundbreaking for two reasons: 1) it was the first study (believe it or not) to take a serious look at both the anatomical structure of cellulite as well as its physiologic function; and, 2) the results of the study exploded all the popular myths surrounding the causes of cellulite.
